Responsibilities:
The main purpose of the successful applicant will be to operate as a Cobol Programmer
- Code, debug and unit test simple to moderate programs. This includes new development or modifications to core banking programs.
- Create technical analysis and test plans based on functional specifications received from the client.
- Acquire a moderate proficiency of IBM iSeries (formerly known as AS400)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in Cobol
- Basic knowledge of Java technologies is a plus
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to work with abstract concepts to develop computer programs
- Good team player
- Advanced level of English language
- Willingness to learn banking functionalities |
